Seal Found Dead
The elephant seal which was seen moving about in the Blaketown lagoon, Greymouth, on Sunday afternoon, was found dead on Monday ■ morning. Originally thought o be a sea-lion, the seal was about 15ft long and had two deep wounds believed to have been suffered in a mating season fight. Greymouth Harbour Board employees rethe body yesterday afternoon.
