South Africa crushed Australia by an innings and 129 runs in the second cricket test on Monday, to go two up in the four-match series.

Australia, faced with the almost impossible task of scoring 465 runs to avoid an innings defeat, was all out for 336 in its second innings.

The tourists provided early; resistance when K. Stackpole; and K. D. Walters put on 511 after resuming in the morn ing at 100 for two Then Walters and I.
