Subdivision Begun
Work has begun in stripping and levelling the first stage of the big Crown subdivision off Memorial Avenue, between Bumside High School and Grahams Road. About 31 acres are involved, some of the land running through to Guildford Street Eventually about 75 sections on 21 acres will be available for house building ■ Ten acres will be for school 'and playing field extensions !to the Bumside High School, 1 where the roll has increased spectacularly. The first stage of the development will involve 10 acres, to be subdivided into sections.
