Special T.A.B. Double
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The Totalizator Agency Board (Will run a special concession (double on the Even Stevens (Challenge Cup and the New Zealland International Invitation (Stakes to be run by the WaiIkato Racing Club on Saturday, [February 14, and Tuesday, February 17. This was announced in a statement yesterday by ■.he vicechairman of the board (Mr R. A. Whyte). The board will sell tickets for both legs at the same time, as has been the case with previous special doubles. Tickets on the winner of the first leg coupled with a scratching in the second leg may be exchanged up to two hours before the running of the second leg, or failing this, the amount will be placed on the secondleg substitute.
Selling on the special double will open on Friday, February 13, and will continue up to one hour before the start of the Even Stevens Challenge Cup on Saturday. February 14.
