SCHOOLBOY’S HOLIDAY

Successful Speculation (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, February 4. A 15-year-old Sydney boy has made nearly $l5OO each week of his eight-week school vacation. He is John Barbouttis, of suburban Dover Heights, who spent nearly every day of his holidays at the Sydney Stock Exchange or at home poring over the financial section of the newspaper. Today he began his fifthform year at Scots College $11,500 richer than last year when he received an inheritance of $l5OO. Barbouttis, who because of his age has to make all his transactions in his father’s name, said that he made all the decisions himself. He has no doubts about his future "I’m going to be a stockbroker,” he said.
