“The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN. Two form Wingatui runners, Clarendon Imp and Tudor Hall, will miss their engagements at the Canterbury Jockey Club’s meeting on Saturday. Clarendon Imp, runner-up to Mulga Bill at the Vincent meeting at her last start, fell on the road. She has lost a little skin, is stiff and sore, and will be missing from the field for the Lyttelton Hack Handicap. Tudor Hall, a good second at his last start at the Vincent meeting, has drawn an outside barrier stall in the Trial Stakes and his trainer, H. A. Anderton, has decided against the trip. The trainer, H. A. Anderton, will have a team of three for the first day of the meeting, Trelay, The Limit and Dollar Era. Trelay is the early favourite for the Hornby High-weight after his impressive win in the Southland Guineas at his last start. x , The Limit is due to have his first race since winning
the McLean Stakes at the Dunedin spring meeting. C. S. Jones also has a team of three. Double Note, Stormcrest and Hour Of Truth. Gay Gabador and Mon Amour, members of A. E. Didham’s team, were left at Riccarton after the Wellington Cup meeting. They will be joined by Maree Dee. J. S. McKay will have two runners in the high-weight event, Sunny Filou and Glendaloch, both of which are in top form.
