ADDINGTON MARKET Values Rise; Yardings Smaller

Smaller yardings of prime stock were offered at the Addington market yesterday, arid as a result values showed a rise in several sections.

Values for prime lambs showed a marked improvement, the yarding of fewer than 1000 being inadequate for the retail trade.

In the prime sheep section, a small entry of young wethers recovered last week’s decline, while ewes again had! a steady sale. A smaller entry of prime cattle sold particularly well, prime ox and heifer beef continuing to improve in value. Cow values were unchanged. The veal market was fully firm, but a larger entry of j dairy cattle showed a decline on last week’s good rates.
