Search For Man Hampered
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Feb. 3. Dry ground today hampered the search by two parties in the Manapouri bush for Roger Earl Wall, aged about 30, of Christchurch, who has been missing in the area for five days. Constable D. Wisely, of Te Anau, said tonight that the dry ground made tracking difficult A police dog and handler had been called in to help but the lack of tracks made the dog’s work difficult. Twelve searchers were to spend tonight in the bush near Paddock Hill, ready for an early start in the morning.
