(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 30. Demonstrators had every right to demonstrate, but they must accept that there was a certain occupational hazard in going to demonstrations, Mr C. E. H. Pledger, S.M., said in the Auckland Magistrate’s Court today.

He was refusing witnesses' expenses to the defence after! dismissing a charge laid against Alan Robert Robson, j aged 19. a student.

Robson, represented by Mr IP. J. Evans, had pleaded not I guilty to wilfully obstruct* ling a constable in the execuI tion of his duty on December 1 12 last year. I The Magistrate said it was quite clear that the constable was obstructed by the accused during an anti-Viet-nam war demonstration outside the A.M.P. Building in Queen Street, but it must be shown that the defendant intended to obstruct., The Magistrate said he did not find it proven beyond reasonable doubt that Robson’s actions were Wilful.
