Rams For Brazil

Four Corriedale and tvia Romney rams left Christchurch for Sydney on Thursday on the first stage of ah air journey to Brazil. At Sydney they were to join a consignment of Australian sheep, also bound by air for Brazil. The corriedales were bought by Dalgety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd, from the estate of H. T. Little (Hawarden), the Johns Trust (Culverden). J.. F. G. Blakely and Son (Waikari), and J. H. Grigg (Longbeach). The Romneys were bought from A. Southey, of Masterton, and the Rannoch Trust, of Darfield. The sheep were bought in June, but difficulty in obtaining transport from Sydney caused a long delay in arranging delivery.
