(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) SYDNEY. New Zealand’s junior tennis players had mixed foi> tunes in the Linton and Wilson Cups yesterday. The boys made a clean sweep agaipst Western Australia, winning 3-0, but the girls were beaten convincingly by Queensland, 3-0. Results:
Linton Cup.—New Zealand 3, Western Australia 0: P. Gunning beat R. Casey, 6-3, 6-3; D. Walker beat G. Same, 6-4, 6-3; Walker and R. McGhie beat Same and. Casey, 6-8. 6-4, 6-4. Wilson Cup.—New Zealand 0, Queensland 3: M. Pryde lost to L. Cameron, 4-6, 7-5. 4-6; A. Hodgson lost to J, Fallis, 4-6, 1-6; Pryde and S. Monds lost to Cameron and W. Turnbull, 1-6. 6-4. 4-6.
