TROTTING Leading Light Is Cud Favourite

"The Preet" Special Service WELLINGTON. With only nine in the Wellington Cup, the event looks easy for Leading Light, even though he will start from the back mark of 42 yards.

Meadow Bank looks a possible improver. He was third on Saturday and although his recent form has been disappointing he is useful. Meadow Bank is the Cup holder. He was awarded the race after running second to Top Copy, when the latter returned a positive swab. The newcomer to the ranks is Via Veneto. She paced a fine race to win the second leg on Saturday night and her pace might trouble the fancied runners.
