Former Monk To Wed
Dr Howard Saxby, a former monk who will marry soon, said in Sydney he had left the monastery with the “full blessing and good will of the authorities.” He will marry Miss Mary Arnold, a well-known Sydney social worker. Formerly an almoner at the Mater Hospital, she is now a social worker at. Cusa House, the' Roman Catholic centre. Dr Saxby, aged 68, is a Widower with a grown fam-
ily. He holds an OH.E. Dr Saxby said, “By special dispensation from Rome, I was released from my simple vows last August. “Last November I met Mary again and to be brief and frank, we fell in love. We have been friends since 1954." Dr Saxby said the wedding would be before the end of this month. It would be celebrated with a Nuptial Mass and attended only by relatives.
