The Canterbury women’s cricket team to take part in the Rothpians HallyburtonJohnstone Shield tournament, at Hagley Oval from December 27 to January 7, is:—S. Cowles (captain), A. Malin, (vice-captain), J. Lawn, E. Luckett, J. Hamilton, D- Mcßae, R. Murray, J. Olsen, S. Roberts, A. Rouse, E. Rouse, J. Stead and S. Vaughan. Miss P. Buckler has been appelnted manager. Three playere selected far the Canterbury B side to ploy In a tournament at Aahburton later thia month are no longer available. They are E. Pocoek. M. Alabaster and J. Wilson. Their replacements are C. Foots, H. Warren and S. Vaughan.
