Sumner Bus Shelter

Sir,—l congratulate the Transport Department in restoring the use of the bus shelter at the corner of Head and Nay land Street, Sumner. The closing of this stop caused much controversy and hardship, especially to elderly persons during wintry weather. May I also thank those residents who continually nagged enough to get the decision rescinded, in spite of the apathy of those who stood on the sidelines.—Yours, etc., WEARY WAYFARER. December 7, 1969.
