Dolapal Likely Again

"Th, PrM," Special Service WILLINGTON. ’ Dolapal confirmed last Saturday that he could stay as well as sprint by wlnnlna the Bolton Handicap at Woodville and a repeat today should bo rorthcomfna.

On the same course and over the same distance Dolapal will contest the Gothard Handicap and the ,1b rehandlcap should not bo too great a burden. Last week Dolapal', owner- ■ trainer, t. Walker, secured the i services of the Hawera apprentice, M. K. Campbell, when J. F. Harris was not available. But Harris will bo back In the saddle today and Judging by thia week’a traokwork Dolapal has Improved. I Practice won the stewards' ! Handicap in heavy going over ’ this distance on the corresponding day last year and his rider, B. S. Dodds, was successful on Watchet in the Gothard Handicap on the same day. But Practice has been feeling the hard tracks in recent weeks and unless the track has eased at all by today ho la unlikely to start. His Inst two outings on fast tracks have produced a second to Bolampago at Hastings and a fourth in the Bolton Handicap on Saturday. But if he did have conditions to suit he would most probably prove the hardest to beat. Bluffing has shown in the past that he is not too reliable n holding winning form but his success at Hastings recently after a third on the first day of that meotnlg Indicated a change in his ways. Patrida, which will be making his debut over a middle distance, appears now to appreciate being settled early. He Should run a bold race.
