OUTING FOR CHILDREN
About ISO children from eight Christchurch children’s homes will be the guests of the New Brighton Lions’ and the ~ Christchurch Jet Boat Club at a picnic and jet-boat outing on Sunday. The children will travel to Stewart’s Gully by bug, and about 20 jet-boats will take them pn trips up and down the river. The Lions are pro. viding a picnic lunch, and there will also be sports and •srae*....*. tween 5 and U, and the outing will start at 10J0 a.m, and end about 4 p-m.
