(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 5. The first Union Steam Ship Company ship due to sail tonight, the freighter Koraki, failed to put to sea as the result of a decision by the seamen In the crew. The men told the ship’s captain, Captain B. Avery, that they had a question they wished to put to the national executive of the Seamen’s Union, but that they would not be able to get in touch with the officials until tomorrow morning. They added, however, that the ship would, be able to sail once they had an answer.
