After supplying two carpet orders for the Hong Kong Hilton, F. and T. secured a 864,000 order to provide nearly 16,000 square yards for the Singapore hotel’s lobbies, corridors and bedrooms. i The Kiccarton plant is
making 5000 square yards, mostly of the patterned carpet in an 80/20 wool-nylon Axminster. Another plant at Lower Hutt, is making nearly 11,000 yards of tufted carpet in sepia and aquamarine for the hotel bedrooms.
