WHEELCHAIR PRESENTED TO WESLEY LODGE.—Mrs A. W. Leithhead (left), president of the Papanui sub-centre of the Red Cross Society, yesterday presented a wheelchair to the matron of Wesley Lodge Eventide Home, Miss I. E. Macadam (middle). The Papanui sub-branch raised the money to buy the chair. At right is the Rev. W. E. Falkingham, superintendent of the Christchurch Methodist Central Mission, and sitting in the chair is Mrs A. Stone, aged 94, the oldest resident of Wesley Lodge.
