BURSARY AWARDED
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 13. The registrar of ophthalmology at Wellington Hospital (Dr T. J. Hailiwell) has received a $lBOO bursary awarded by the New Zealand Foundation for the Blind. Dr Hailiwell will leave for England on December 31 to study for his diploma at the Institute of Ophthalmology, London. The recipient of the bursary is required, after qualification, to return to New Zealand for a period of at least two years.
