FAR EAST CIRCUIT
Mcßae Will Compete (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The Wellington racing driver, G. Mcßae, will represent New Zealand on the Far East circuit, involving Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Macao and parts of Japan. Yesterday he took delivery of the 470 B.H.P. Chevrolet V 8 motor and other essential parts for the McLaren MIOA Formula A racing car which he recently acquired. This is the car which he will drive in the Tasman championship here and in Australia, and in the national gold star championship in New Zealand. His participation in the full Pacific circuit, with the exception of the United States and Canada, will go a long way toward establishing the pattern of racing in the Pacific which New Zealand promoters have been seeking for years.
