CAR PARTS STOLEN
Car parts worth $ll4 were stolen during the week-end. Two wheels, valued at $5O, were unbolted from an Austin A3O car parked in a garage in Daresbury Lane, Merivale, and four radiators worth $64 were stolen from the premises of South Island Auto Wreckers.
Duffle bags and purses worth $63.50 were stolen when the Lion Shoe Service shop in Cashel Street was broken into on Sunday night. Entry was gained through a skylight. A briefcase and money of a total value of $16.40 were stolen when the Avonhead School was entered, and confectionery and soft drinks valued at $4.10 were stolen from a hamburger bar in Durham Street during the week-end.
