Police Called Out
A youth, using a tennis racquet and stones, caused the police armed offenders squad to be called out yesterday morning after the police had been told that a firearm was being used to smash skylights in a furniture factory in Addington. The youth was apprehended by members of the squad in the back garden of a house in Disraeli Street after it had been cordoned by the police. He had been using the racquet to hiti stones into the air.
