| N.Z. Approves Bursaries (N.Z. Press Association* WELLINGTON, Oct. 13. A bursary scheme to enable up to 30 students from Eng-lish-speaking South Pacific territories to study at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji has been approved by the New Zealand ment“This represents the outcome of several months of discussion between the New Zealand authorities and the university on the form which further assistance from New Zealand might take,” the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said. The bursary scheme was designed to come into effect for the first semester of next year. It would provide up to 10 new bursaries each year for students to undertake degree or diploma courses. The cost to New Zealand would be about $50,000 annually, Mr Holyoake said.
