Genoa And Wapet Have Oil Strikes

Genoa Oil, which works in association with Hartog Oil N.L., Pexa Oil N.L., Flinders Petroleum N.L., Omega Oil N.L., Weatherley Oil N.L., and Crusader Oil N.L., said that fluorescence and traces of oil had been seen in cuttings in clean sandstone at its Pendock Island No. 1 well, about 100- miles south of Barrow Island. Wapet'B report said that oil was produced from its Dongara No. 14 well, about 200 miles north of Perth,- at ah estimated rate of 1400 barrels per day.
