TRAINING CRUISE
The Bathurst class minesweeper Kiama is due at Lyttelton on Friday morning on a training cruise with officer cadets aboard. At 10 a.m. on Saturday she will put to sea to give reservists from H.M.N.Z.S. Pegasus sea training exercises. These will include blank firing with Bofors guns. The Kiama is commanded by LieutenantCommander J. M. Beauchamp, R.N.Z.N.
