No Decision On Rugby TV
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept 19. The council of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union made no firm decision today on televised Rugby. It was stated, however, that because the vast majority of unions opposed live telecasts, the council would not, under any circumstances, negotiate for live coverage of games. Messrs J. L. Sullivan, C. K. Saxton and W. S. Bramwell were appointed a. subcommittee to analyse submissions made by unions and make recommendations to the next council meeting.
