Club Rooms Opened
Th* New Brighton Bugby Football Club's now *30;ooo olubroom* In Bewhitl Domain were opened by the deputy. Mayor (Mr H. P. Smith) on Saturday afternoon. The member of Parliament for Avon (Mr J. Mathison) and the president of the Canterbury Bugby Union (Mr C. H. McPhail) congratulated the club on the work it has done this season. Mr McPhail presented the club with the D.C.L. Shield, won by the senior team In the fratround competition tM« season.
