No Drinking After Death
Attendants, surprised to see a wine bottle near one of the shrouded corpses in a mortuary at Versailles, lifted the cloth and found a man asleep. He told them he had spent the night there for the last three weeks, as he had just left prison and had no money to pay for lodgings.— Versailles (France), September 19.
