Brothers’ Work At Marylands
Tha work of the Brothers of St John of God, whose vocation is to bring a fuller life to many handicapped young persons who find it difficult to fit into society, was described by Brother T. Brennan, of Marylands, Halswell, at a service in the Christchurch Methodist Central Mission’s church in Cambridge Terrace last evening;
The theme of the service was “Life To The Full,” and the prayers of thanksgiving and intercession were centred on persons and organisations helping to provide a more abundant life for less fortunate persons in the community. After the service Brother Brennan gave an illustrated talk on the life work of the brothers during a social hour.
