IMPRESSIVE RECORD.—The British tennis player, G. Stilwell, who has been a key figure in Davis Cup preliminary rounds this year. Against Rumania earlier this month in an inter-zone final, Stilwell, playing at No. 2, won both his singles matches. Unfortunately, the British first-string player, M. Cox, was beaten in both his singles matches and Britain lost its chance to play America for the cup.
