DELAY TO ARANUI

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 25. The Aranui was delayed in sailing from Wellington to Picton this morning because of a dispute involving the engineer officers. The ship, which was due to leave at 10 a.m., sailed at 11.35 a.m.

The secretary of the Marine and Power Engineers llnstitute (Mr D. J. Munro) said that the dispute was over three minor points and discussions were held in the

ship between the officers, himself, and a representative of the Union Steam Ship Company.. The parties reached agreement.
