Another Abortion
The abortion law reformist, Dr B. B. Wainer, last night publicly announced another abortion, and challenged police to take action over it. Dr Wainer said the abortion, the third he had announced, was performed on a 16-year-old girl who had been raped, not because the girl would suffer physically or mentally, but “simply because she wanted it and I thought it was a damn good idea.”—Melbourne, Aug. 19.
