EXPORT OF CAT-SKINS
Government To Impose Ban (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 20. The Government tas decided to take action to prevent the exporting of catskins. Parliament's Petitions Committee recommended last month that a petition calling for the prohibition of commercial exploitation of catskins Should be given most favourable consideration by the Government The Minister of Customs (Mr Shelton) said in a statement today that the export of the skins would be prohibited under the Export Prohibitionßegulations.'
