Poodle, Boxer Match Event
A combined match evening was held at the Union Street Methodist Church Hall, New Brighton, on Saturday by the South Island Poodle Club and the South Island Boxer Club. Lots were drawn for one dog of each breed to be paired off with one of the other breed, and pairs were judged by Mr D. Peters on a knock-out basis. WHmers were:—-Puppy section: Mrs S. Morris’s poodle Elisa Jane of La Roche and Mrs G. Cook’s boxer Buck. Adult $ ection: Mrs S. Morris’s poodle De Arne Shreds Suncharm and Mrs H. Loughrtdge’s boxer Surtblaxe.
