Triple-Header Report Denied
The soccer match between Technical and New Brighton last Saturday was not a tripieheader, as reported in “The Press” on Tuesday, the match committee of the Canterbury Football Association (Mr R. Storer) said yesterday. The resulted counted for the southern league and “Dollars for Goals” competitions, but not for the English Cup.
Services Rugby.—Navy was undefeated to win the junior inter-services Rugby tournament at Woodbourne. In the final game, Navy beat Air Force, 15-8.
