VOTING BILL PASSED
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 20. Twenty-year-olds will be able to enrol in a few days for the General Election. The Electoral Amendment Bill, which lowers the minimum voting age from 21, was put through the last of its stages in Parliament tonight. Once it receives the Royal assent it will become law. It was put through its committee stages tonight, reported back, and given a third reading.
