(N.Z. Press Association! WELLINGTON, August 19. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) is now the fourth longest serving Prime Minister of New Zealand after R. J. Seddon, W. F. Massey and Peter Fraser. Holyoake could become the nation’s third longest serving Prime Minister early next year. Mr Holyoake became deputy leader of the National Party in 1947, and served for 77 days as Prime Minister in 1957 after the retirement of Sir Sidney Holland. He led his party back as the Government in 1960. Seddon was Prime Minister from May, 1893, to June, 1906. Massey served from July, 1912, until May, 1925, and Fraser from April, 1940, to December,
