From left are the Archbishop of Canterbury (the Most Rev. Michael Ramsey), the Archbishop of Westminster (Cardinal Heenan), the sculptor (Mr L. Cubitt Bevis), and the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (Miss E. M. Christmas). “The Times” described the unveiling of the statue as “a ceremony of ecumenical and Establishment unanimity that would have astonished him (Sir Thomas More).”
