$14,000 Boat Taken
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, July 28. John Thomas Huntley, aged 24, a fisherman, pleaded guilty in the Invercargill Magistrate’s Court today to unlawfully taking the fishing boat Te Moana, valued at 814,000, the property of Skeggs Fisheries, Ltd. Mr B. O. Nicholson, S.M., remanded Huntly until August 1 for a probation officer's report and sentence. Bail of $4OO with one surety of 8400 was allowed, a condition being that Huntley report daily to the Bluff police.
