ffi.Z., Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 29. The New Zealand opera singer, Kiri Te Kanawa, has arrived home after nearly two, years overseas. For the last 20 months she has been studying at the London School of Opera and performing in various-operas and concerts in Britain. . She has returned to. New Zealand to play the title role of Carmen in the New Zealand Opera Company production which will open in : Wellington on August 23.
