TRAINING SCHEME
Talks With Miiiister (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 29. A scheme for retraining unemployed, unskilled men to fit them in gainful employment in New Zealand will be discussed with the Minister of Labour (Mr Shand), employers and industrial unions, the Secretary of Labour (Mr N. S. Woods) said today. Mr Woods returned to New Zealand last week after two months of studying work training schemes overseas. He said he was impressed with the co-operation and communication between unions and employers in this field, particularly in the United States and Britain.
