FISHING DISPUTE
Arbitration Ruled Out (N.Z. Pre.e Asiociation) AUCKLAND, July 28. The executive of the Auckland Fishermen’s Association does not consider its dispute with fish wholesalers as one for arbitration.
It said in a statement today that this was because there were so many different aspects relating to costs and prices in the industry. The executive was prepared to have an immediate public inquiry into all sections of the fishing trade, with the earnings, balance sheets and profits of all parties open to inspection.
