Champion again
E. C. Gray looks ahead to victory as he clears the last obstacle alone on hie way to his fourth successive win in the Canterbury cross-country champion-
ship last Saturday. Gray, who had been disappointing In his two previous appearances in Christchurch during the season, first tested and then demolished the opposition. His time of 40min 7sec was excellent for the course, which provided a hard test of fitness. Gray hopes to reach his best racing form in the next two weeks and he should be with the leading runners at the national crosscountry championships at Gisborne on August 9.
