Loans To Iraq
East Germany will provide Iraq with loans totalling 30m dinars (about S69m) under an economic and technical cooperation agreement approved by the Iraqi Cabinet. Bagdad Radio says that under the agreement the loans will be repaid within 12 years at 2.5 per cent interest—Beirut, July 4.
