PRIVATE MARY McGILLEN, who received the Gray Memorial Trophy for the best recruit at the passing-out parade of the No. 58 N.Z.W.R.A.C. recruit course at Burnham Camp this week. Twentythree girls paraded. Private McGillen, who was educated at Temuka High School, was a land agent’s receptionist before she enlisted last March. She is now employed as a communications centre operator with the Southern District Signals Troop at Burnham Camp.
