The position involves studying i to qualify as a Health Inspector under a Government approved training scheme partly in the Health Department of the City Council and partly at a full time training course in Wellington. probably between i February and November, 1970. , Applicants would need to be approved by the New Zealand Examination Board of the Royal 1 Society of Health before being accepted for the training course and appointment by the City , Council would be subject to approval by the Board on application. A successful applicant could expect to sit his qualifying examination in May. 1971. and would be bonded to remain in the service of the Timaru City Council as a health inspector 1 for three years after qualification.
