The appointment involves the marketing of modern Insecticides and Herbicides throughout the South Island. This is a new position developed as a result of the rapid expansion of our Ag-Chem Division. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Promotion of the Monsanto range of Agricultural Chemicals to Farmers and Growers. • Organising Marketing outlets. • Liaison with Monsanto Technical Staff and Agricultural Research Workers to maintain, an up to date knowledge of the Industry. • Initiate sales promotion of specific products and be responsible for advertising, demonstrations, and discussion groups, etc. The applicant must have a basic knowledge of and Interest in the Agricultural and Horticultural Industries and any previous experience in the marketing of Agricultural Chemicals would be beneficial. Preference will be given to applicants with Agricultural or Horticultural degrees or diplomas but those are not essential. Age group desired between 22 and 35 but this is not a limiting factor. This position merits a generous salary which will be negotiated on the basis of qualifications, background and experience.
