Trust, the Hulsean Chichele I Trust and the Jackson Trust ’ has applied to the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Christ- , church for approval of a scheme , for the disposition of various > endorsement funds of the said trusts prepared in that behalf , as required by Section 34 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957. PARTICULARS of the said 1 scheme are as follows: : (a) THAT the intents and purpurposes of the Benjamin ■ Woolley Dudley Deed of I Trust dated the 3rd day of April 1856 be varied by deleting the intents and purposes enummunerated therein and by substituting in lieu thereof intents ■ and purposes to provide : bursaries or scholarships i for Divinity Students at , Christchurch College and i to provide non-fiction i books for the College lib- ( rary or if there Is no suit- > able Divinity student to , provide bursaries and scholarships for student . other than Divinity stu- , dents as the Governing . Body of the College sees ; fit - I (b) THAT the intents and pur- I , poses of the Hulsean Chichele Professorship be varied by deleting Clause I and II of the Resolution of the Christ’s College Board made on the 2nd day of July 1855 relating to the said Professorship and by substituting in lieu thereof Intents and purposes to provide for a Hulsean Chichele Professorship of History and, while such professorship - is vacant or to so much of - the income as is not being I applied to the professor- 1 ships, to pay for the salar- 1 les of the Principal, Vice- i Principal, Chaplain and 1 Staff of Christchurch Col- j lege. i (c) THAT the intents and pur- I poses of the Watts-Bussell 1 Divinity Professorship be varied by deleting Clauses j I and II of the Resolution I of Christ’s College Board i made on the 2nd day of 1 July 1855 relating to the 1 said Professorship and by ! substituting in lieu thereof intents and purposes to provide for a WattsRussell Divinity Professorship and, while such pro- ! fessorship is vacant or to so much of the income as is not being applied to the professorship, to pay for the salaries ot the Principal.
